Reklamombudsmannen handles complaints about advertising and uses the guidance of the Advertising and Marketing Communication Practice from the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) when reviewing advertising.

Reklamombudsmannen only handles complaints about advertising aimed at the Swedish market, and does not handle complaints concerning non-commercial advertising such as political or religious messages.

Anyone may file a complaint with Reklamombudsmannen. A complaint may not be anonymous, although the names of private individuals are not published in our conclusions.
